What do DJs do on their days off?

As well as running my own DJ business with my wife's help, its fair to say we do enjoy our life! turning 50 this year and having our kids at an early age allows us to live life to the full! We enjoy live music (both still stuck in the 80's), eating out and spending too much time and money in B@Q! this summer we built a bar in our back garden added a sound system and a large selection of gins!

My 30 years in Djing have seen many things come and go, the current UK clubbing market is having a tough time, people seem to enjoy their own parties more now, alcohol is so much cheaper in the supermarket, music is easier to get hold of and so simple to follow your bands!

I'm sure in the years to come a "clever" person will suggest a bar where you pay to get in and stay all night and it starts all over again!!

To sum up the above, we bought a small record player the other day and dug out some old 7 inch vinyl, our Boys were showing some real interest until they said:

"Dad how you skip to the next track!" that said it all for me!!
